Samsung may unveil a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, according to Italian website HDBlog.

The Italian website claims that according to “reliable” sources, the bigger version of the Galaxy S6 will be announced in the coming weeks, and will be called Galaxy S6 Plus. It is internally called “Project Zero 2”. Samsung Galaxy S6 was internally called “Project Zero”.

The Galaxy S6 Plus will reportedly feature a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display.

SamMobile, which as has a great track record when it comes to Samsung related rumors also confirms that it has also heard about the company’s plans to launch Galaxy S6 Plus from their sources.

SamMobile goes on to add that it will come with a 32GB internal storage, a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 16-megapixel rear camera.

The website also claims that the company is on track to unveil Note 5 at IFA in September. It is internally called Project Noble. It is likely to feature a 2K or 4K Super AMOLED flat display, an octa-core Exynos 7422 processor and the S Pen.

Galaxy S6 with 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch display would make it the same size as Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus. It seems a little bizarre that Samsung will launch a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, before the launch of Galaxy Note 5 with 5.7-inch display.
